Access is part of quality

A social product should not make basic participation depend on one perfect body, device, or sense.

MicoCam's public experience aims for readable contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, reduced-motion support, responsive layouts, and plain-language help. Accessibility work is ongoing and should be tested in real tasks.

Public experience

Structure and interaction should remain understandable without visual guesswork.

Headings, links, controls, and landmarks should follow a meaningful order. Focus should remain visible, text should reflow on smaller screens, and motion should respect the device preference when it is not essential.

Images and decorative elements should not carry the only explanation of a task. Color can support meaning, but labels and structure need to preserve it when color perception differs.

  • →Use keyboard-operable navigation and controls
  • →Keep text readable at zoom and on narrow screens
  • →Provide meaningful names for controls and landmarks
02

Live video realities

Camera-based interaction creates additional accessibility choices.

Users may rely on text messages, headphones, device captions, larger interfaces, or slower conversation pace. A live product should avoid making one communication mode the only path to all support and account actions.

When reporting an accessibility barrier, include the task, device, browser, assistive technology, expected result, and actual result. Do not include private call content unless it is strictly necessary and requested through a safe path.

  • →Offer a non-video path for support questions
  • →Allow enough time to understand and operate controls
  • →Do not treat camera use as proof of ability or identity
